Roger Cruea, 70

Roger Dale Cruea, age 70, of Sturgis, passed away Wednesday morning November 13, 2019 at the Thurston Woods Village in Sturgis.
He was born October 20, 1949 in Troy, Ohio son of the late LeRoy Joseph and Velma Elizabeth (Wray) Cruea.
Roger came to Sturgis in 1966 and was a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1966. He resided in Texas for over 25 years.
Most of Roger’s working life was in the recreational vehicle industry.
He enjoyed reading attending rodeos and he was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeye’s.
Roger is survived by one daughter: Alicia Bain of Kilgore, Texas; two sons: Barry (Helen) Cruea and Brent Cruea both of Sturgis; five grandchildren: Ronald, Dakota, Breanna, Isabella and Sarah; one sister: Pamela (Jeffery) Smith of Lebanon, Missouri; four brothers: John David (Merlene) Cruea of Sturgis, Allen Eugene (Shirley) Cruea of Rockdale, Tennessee, Joseph Cruea of New Mexico and Richard (Diana) Cruea of Howe, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Michael Lee Cruea and one sister: Alice Kay Cruea.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. Private family services will take place at a later date.
The Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
