Alma Bowersox, 93

On Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019 Alma Pearl Bowersox, age 93, went to be with the Lord.
She was born in 1926 in Flowerfield Township, Michigan.
Alma was a very active member at Center Park United Methodist Church. She loved growing her flowers, for everyone. She was a talented artist and enjoyed sewing also.
Alma had a special bond with her children and Great Grandchildren. Alma wrote books for her Grandchildren. She had a beautiful heart, treating everyone with caring and kindness, a great influence on her Family.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Raymond Bowersox, daughter Betty J. Page, parents, Bessie and Harry Hoak, and brother Milton Hoak.
Alma was an active member of the Three Rivers Woman’s Club and helped start the Carnegie Center for the Arts.
Alma leaves to cherish her memory her family, a son, John Bowersox; daughter, Susan Bloom; son in law, Matthew Page; grandchildren Amy Waldrom (David), Elaine VanVliet, Raymond Bloom (Angel); Great Grandchildren Caleb and Kiersten Waldrom, Evan and Bianca VanVliet, Austin and Koltin Gross, Liam Bloom, Breana and Wesley Sicklesmith; several nieces and nephews
Alma fought a very long battle with dementia at Heartland in Three Rivers where she had excellent care.
She will be missed and was loved dearly.
In accordance with her wishes cremation will be conducted and memorial services will be held at a later date.
