St. Joseph County Grange Fair officials on Friday announced a new carnival/midway vendor, Skerbeck Entertainment Group.
The Fennville-based company will make its St. Joseph County debut at the 2020 grange fair.
Skerbeck Entertainment Group will bring more than 28 rides to the 2020 fair, focusing on state-fair-quality equipment with enough variety to appeal to most fair-goers. Highlights of the new line- up include Top Gun, Music Express, Supernova360, Sea Ray, Giant Ferris Wheel, Grand Carousel, Wacky Shack, Bumper Cars, Children’s Carousel, Lil’ Scrambler, and Up Up and Away and Tea Cups.
According to the fair’s midway committee, a key improvement for fair-goers is the availability of good-all-day, unlimited ride wristbands sold each day of the fair. Skerbeck Entertainment Group also offers ‘Mega Bands’ for the first time. That allows customers to purchase one semi-permanent wristband to wear all week of the fair. Officials expect Mega Bands to be popular with 4-H members and others who attend the fair for multiple days of the week. Mega Bands and wristbands went on sale Saturday through the company’s website.
Skerbeck is a family-owned and operated company for more than 170 years.
