Commercial News plans to move to 2 days of publication

Citing the preferred method of obtaining news through computers, tablets and phones, the Three River Commercial News announced Tuesday it is cutting back on its days of publication.

Editor and Publisher Dirk Milliman said the newspaper will reduce its print edition from six days a week to twice-weekly publication. The new schedule takes effect Feb. 1 and will see the paper’s print editions available through home delivery and via newsstand Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Milliman said news will be updated daily on its website and through its Facebook page. Additionally, local content will be made available through social media channels.

The Three Rivers Commercial News has been a part of the community for 125 years.
