David Richard Gearhart, Sr. age 80 of Marcellus passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 at home.
He was born in Three Rivers, Michigan on May 27, 1939 the son of Charles Thomas and Margaret Elaine (Cox) Gearhart, who preceded him in death.
On November 22, 1956, in Normal, Illinois he married Joyce Kay Lamb who survives.
David was a Sub Station Manager, working for many years at the American Electric Power.
David was a member of the Ruskin Chapter 1718 Moose Lodge in Florida, and the Marcellus VFW 4054 Auxiliary. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hill climbing and was good with his hands, always tinkering with things.
David is survived by his wife Joyce, one daughter Korreen Gearhart of Marcellus; two sons David Gearhart Jr. of Marcellus and Drew (Dawn) Gearhart of Marcellus; eight grand children, seven great-grandchildren; three brothers John Gearhart of South Carolina, George Gearhart of Marcellus and Carl (Brenda) Gearhart of Marcellus.
David is preceded in death by two sisters-in-law Rosie and Gloria.
