Larry Himes, 62

Larry F. Himes, age 62, of Colon, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 5, 2020 in the emergency room of Sturgis Hospital.

Larry was born in Coldwater on June 17, 1957, a son to Ned Himes and Phyllis (Wiler) Vanaken.

Larry lived most of his life in the Bronson area where he attended high school.

Larry is survived by his mother Phyllis Vanaken of Colon, father Ned Himes, brothers Rick L. Himes of Sturgis and Tim D. Himes of Galesburg, and 7 nieces and nephews.

Following in Larry’s wish’s cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time.

The family was assisted by Schipper Funeral Home in Colon.
