Roland Quinn Mangold, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend passed away peacefully at home early Sunday morning, January 5, 2020, after a long battle with Dementia. He was born in Forrest City, Arkansas on April 25, 1951, son of Alva Lee and Eugenia (Coleman) Mangold.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife, Linda (Criswell) Mangold, his three daughters, Jennie (Zack) Miller, Brenda (Kevin) Ball, Ronda (Terry) Fisk. His sister Reba (Dennis) Ludwick, his brother Billy (Sandra) Mangold. Grandchildren Lindsey (Benny) Clark, Andrew Lough, Allie (Brett) Fisk-Ake, Steven Fisk, Brittney Ball, Matthew Lough, Emily Lough, Joey Ball, Ben Miller, Terry Jr (Hazel) Fisk, Brandon (Shelbie) Fisk, Melissa (Andrew) Swinehart-Cocanower. Great-Grandchildren Kason Snook, Emma Snook, Sophia Ake, Clara Fisk, Zayvrie Clark, and Braelynn Ake (due May 2020). A host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alva Lee and Eugenia Mangold, sister and brother-in-law Dora and Dewey King, brother Benny Mangold, and brother and sister-in-law Eldon (Irene) Mangold.
Roland loved spending time with his family, fishing, and puttering around in the garage. Roland surrendered his life to Jesus in 1994. He loved people right where they were, willing to drop everything to help a friend, family member and in some cases strangers.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hohner Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Rudy Grantham officiating.
