CTA changes service

Here’s an update from the St. Joseph County Transportation Authority.

Due to the governor’s order to stay at home, the CTA will be implementing changes to its schedules.

Priority is being given to dialysis patients, those with doctor appointments verified as necessary, and people in need of groceries and pharmacy services.

Agency officials said it will transport for essential services only and cut all non-essential transports. It has also temporarily stopped its Circle Line service.

Meanwhile, dispatch hours are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
