Glen Oaks remains close indefinitely

Glen Oaks Community College officials said the school’s closure remains indefinite until more information about the coronavirus situation is known.

College officials said there are no suspected cases of COVID-19 on the campus, but the college continues to take precautionary measures to mitigate the spread of the virus, officials said.

Agricultural equipment technology classes at Burnips in Three Rivers also have been canceled.

The college’s janitorial staff will work to complete a thorough sanitation of all areas of the campus as expeditiously as possible in preparation for a return to campus as the situation allows.

All events and community meetings on campus are canceled while the situation continues. That includes athletic events, theater rehearsals and campus clubs and organizations.

Glen Oaks will continue to provide updates to its response to the COVID-19 at glenoaks.edu/coronavirus.
