Man arrested following police pursuit

A Three Rivers man was arrested Monday after leading sheriff’s deputies on a pursuit through a Lockport Township neighborhood.

Around 1 p.m., deputies attempted to stop a Jeep for speeding in the area of Moccasin Drive and Tamarac Lane.

The vehicle continued through the Tamarac subdivision and failed to stop. Eventually, its 20-year-old driver stopped in the area of Tamarac Lane and Mackinac Street and he was taken into custody.

The driver was found to have a suspended license and a loaded handgun in the vehicle.
