White Pigeon Library discontinues curbside service

Due to the latest executive order from Gov. Whitmer, White Pigeon Township Library has discontinued curbside services.

Director Perri Saunders said anyone with materials to return can use the book drop, as it will be emptied periodically.

Saunders said many zoos, museums and other organizations are broadcasting tours, concerts and animal interactions on Facebook and YouTube. Also, many children’s authors and other celebrities are reading kid’s books online.

Saunders said access to free, online and downloadable books and audiobooks are available through the library’s website, where links to Tumble Books and BookCloud can be found.

Also, the free “Libby” app can be used to download ebooks and audiobooks.
