Sarah Vollmer, a trustee on the St. Joseph County Intermediate School District board, will be stepping down from the board effective June 8.
She said the decision came after her husband’s job has transferred them out of St. Joseph County.
Vollmer was appointed to the board in October.
Board president Elizabeth O’Dell expressed regret that Vollmer is leaving.
The board will hold a special meeting July 6 to consider applicants for the position and appoint a new board member.
