Two Cass County residents were arrested last week and charged with possession of stolen property.
St. Joseph County Sheriff Mark Lillywhite said a partnership with Cass County Sheriff’s Department resulted in the recovery of a stolen vehicle May 6 in the 10000 block of Bair Lake Road in Cass County.
The vehicle was originally reported stolen May 5 from the 57000 Block of Lone Tree Road in Fabius Township.
After further investigation, officers were able to locate other stolen property at the location on Bair Lake Road from the original theft in Fabius Township.
Two suspects, a male and female were taken into custody by the Cass County Sheriff’s Dept. for possession of stolen property.
