St. Joe County Resources is continuing to track by community the percentages of St. Joseph County households that have completed the 2020 U.S. Census.
Agency officials would like to remind the public that every 100 people missed in the Census is $2 million dollars that does not come back to local communities in federal funding.
Nearly two-thirds of the county’s households have completed the 2020 Census form.
From highest responses to fewest, here’s a breakdown through the end of last week: Three Rivers, 64.9 percent; Centreville, 64.1 percent; White Pigeon, 64 percent; Sturgis, 63.4 percent; Mendon, 62 percent; Constantine, 60.3 percent; Colon, 58.2 percent; and Burr Oak, 57.9 percent.
