Burr Oak reopens library

Burr Oak Township Library has reopened.

Its summer hours vary daily, but reserved hours for vulnerable patrons and seniors are 11 a.m.to 1 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.

Library officials said entrance will be through the west door and exit through the east. Also, masks are required and social distancing must be practiced. There is a one-hour limit inside the facility and children under 14 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Its summer-reading program begins July 7 and continues each Tuesday through July 28. There will be no group meetings this year, but stop at the library between 9 and 5 July 7 to obtain a Week 1 packet explaining how the program will work in 2020.
