Motorcycle crash injures White Pigeon man

A White Pigeon man was injured after the motorcycle he was driving crashed Wednesday in Florence Township.

Sheriff Mark Lillywhite said the incident occurred at 12:24 a.m. near the intersection of Lutz and Mintdale roads.

Upon arrival, deputies found 28-year-old Floyd Parker was in the road and breathing but not conscious. Investigators determined he was driving south on Lutz Road when the incident occurred.

Lillywhite said it appears speed and alcohol may have been factors that contributed to the crash.

Parker was airlifted to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo.
