Pat Forsyth, 86

Patricia Ann Forsyth, age 86, of Constantine, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Beacon Pointe Assisted Living in Portage. She was born on April 6, 1934 in Sturgis, a daughter of Charles and Virginia (Minzey) Kilgore. Pat graduated from Rome City High School in 1952 and Glen Oaks Community College in 1969. She then received her Masters Degree from Western Michigan University in 1973.

Pat was employed as a Guidance Counselor, French Teacher, and Secretary for Constantine Schools, retiring in 1992 after 30 years of service.

She enjoyed reading, traveling, drinking coffee, and was an avid Elvis fan.

Surviving are her daughter Terry (Steve) Krull of Constantine; grandchildren Rachel (Jody) Alger, Tim (Shannon Rench) Krull, Sara Marie (Doug) Sloan, and Eric (Jodi) Forsyth; great grandchildren Harrison and Annalee Alger, Gaven Lewis, Rhett Krull, Kaitlynn and Jillian Sloan, and Isaac, Abigail, James, Anna Marie Forsyth; brother David Kilgore of Avilla, IN; daughter-in-law April (Michael) Kelly of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, son Phillip Forsyth, grandson Phillip Forsyth Jr, sisters Sally Brinkman and Nancy Denner, and brother James Kilgore.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place.  The public memorial service, previously mentioned, will not take place.  Because of the continuing spread of the COVID 19 virus, the family has decided a memorial service to honor Pat will not be possible.  We appreciate your love, support, and donations to the Patricia A. Forsyth Memorial Scholarship Fund.
