Book sale at White Pigeon Library

White Pigeon Township Library Director Perri Saunders offered a few bits of information in her latest newsletter.

First, Saunders said the library’s annual book sale is ongoing. She said items are $3 per bag.

Next, she said this is the last week to donate to Operation Backpack. Saunders said supplies are needed more than ever, as kids are no longer able to share crayons, colored pencils or scissors in the classroom.

Finally, Saunders issued a heartfelt thank you to library district residents who supported the library’s request Aug. 4. The three-tenths of a mill renewal request passed by a margin of more than 2-to-1, allowing the library to continue operations at their current level for four more years.
