Louise (nee: Hammond) Dolph, age 83, of Three Rivers, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Birch Meadows Adult Foster Care. Louise was born Feb. 21, 1937 in South Haven the daughter of Lyle Almond and Minnie (Smith) Hammond.
Louise was a longtime teacher at Constantine Schools for twenty years and was also a member of the Michigan Retired Teachers Association. In her spare time, Louise volunteered at Three Rivers Hospital for twenty years and was a long-standing member of the Three Rivers Church of the Nazarene.
She was survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Gard Stephen Dolph, whom she married in Three Rivers on June 8, 1958; sons, Blair (Marie) and Bruce Dolph; grandchildren, Caroline (Tracy) and Sean; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Caleb, Zachary and Madalynn.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Harold, and sister, Ruth.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Lane officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Memorial donations in Louise’s memory may be made to Three Rivers Church of the Nazarene or the St. Joseph County Animal Rescue Fund. Envelopes are available and may be sent to Hohner Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
