Michigan Department of Transportation workers are getting into final stages of the U.S. 131 reconstruction project in Three Rivers.
According to agency officials, traffic this week will continue to travel in single lanes on the newly created northbound side of the highway.
Other updates include news that Millard Road is now open, some utility-relocation work remains ongoing and access will continue to be maintained to businesses at all times.
Paving on the multi-use path continues as scheduling permits and the project’s electrical subcontractor will be performing signal work at various locations throughout the length of the construction zone.
In addition, concrete driveways, and curb and gutter construction is ongoing, and the new section of southbound U.S. 131 roadbuilding, earthwork and paving continues, as well.
