Investigation continues in Lockport armed robbery

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an armed robbery that took place last week in an area of Lockport Township.

Deputies responded shortly after 2 a.m. Friday to North Main Street, where the victim told authorities he was in his vehicle when he was approached by a black man who appeared to be in his early 30s.

The suspect was further described as having scraggly facial hair.

The victim told authorities the suspect displayed a pistol and demanded his wallet. The suspect then fled the scene in a southbound direction in a 2000s, dark-colored sedan. It was last seen near the intersection of Main and 4th streets.
