Larry Wine, 62

Lawrence Allen “Larry” Wine, age 62, of Three Rivers, passed away on Monday afternoon, October 12, 2020 following a lengthy battle with cancer. Larry was born in Kalamazoo on January 29, 1958 to Harold O. and Marian J. (Shelley) Wine. Larry was a big man with even a bigger heart and full of faith.  Larry married Diane Kline on October 9, 1998. Diane described Larry as someone who always found the best in other people. They enjoyed travel together in their 22 years of marriage.

Larry retired in January as a machinist at Bowers Manufacturing.

Larry was preceded in death by his father Harold Wine, Stepfather, Ralph Wine, granddaughter, Zaretta Wine and Nephew Doug Wine II. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Diane, mother Marian Wine, many brothers and sisters as well as four children from a previous marriage to Phyllis Brown. Their four children are James Wine, Lawrence Wine Jr, Steven Wine and Becky Wine. Steven and wife, Jamie gave Larry two grandchildren, Jasmin and Cody. Steven and wife, Cindy gave Larry another grandchild, Aiden. A  great-grandchild, Emily, was born the daughter of Jasmin Wine. Larry was blessed to see Emily for the first time just two days prior to his death. Lawrence Jr was married to Janet who gave him three more grandchildren: Dylan, Alex and Nathan.

When Diane and Larry were married, she brought him his stepchildren Michael and Amy Kline, Brian and Stacie Kline and Eric and Stacie Kline.

Michael and Amy have two children, Ashly and Zoey. Brian and Stacie have two children, Tayler and Levi. Eric and Stacie also have two children Zachary and Livia.

A funeral service will be held at the Hohner Funeral Home on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 1:30 p.m., with Pastor David Dickerson officiating.

Larry & Diane have requested that memorial donations be made in his memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Envelopes are available at Hohner Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
