State Rep. Aaron Miller issued a statement after it was revealed Gov. Gretchen Whitmer was the target of a kidnapping plot.
The plan was never executed and went awry after FBI agents infiltrated the group of citizens planning to carry out the act.
Miller said he is horrified to think of the dangerous and despicable plot being made by the hateful group. He said violence and acts of hate are unacceptable in government, politics and society as a whole.
He added that it is heartbreaking that the nation has reached this point of extreme evil, and that the individuals behind the plan deserve to be prosecuted to the highest extent of the law.
