John Koller, 91

John Peter Koller, age 91, of Sturgis, passed away Monday, November 9, 2020.

He was born March 25, 1929 in Chicago, the son of Peter and Louise (Murdter) Koller.

John served his country in the United States Air Force, and for 39 years was an electrical engineer employed by ComEd.

He was a member of St. Edward’s Catholic Church, where he served as lector, Eucharistic minister, and Parish Council member.

On May 30, 1953 he married Lorraine Carnaggio, who survives him, along with sons Robert Koller of Wood Dale, Ill., Thomas (Suzanne) Koller of Elmhurst, Ill. and John (Sara) Koller of Three Rivers; daughter, Susan Lucas of Reno, Nev.; grandchildren, Matthew and Ryan, Heidi, Olivia, Charlie, Zoe, Max and Henry.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 13, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edward’s Catholic Church, 332 State St., Mendon, with Msgr. Tom Martin as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Edward’s Cemetery.

    Bob and I were good friends for many years. I’m so sorry for your loss.
