Daniel L. Ringler, age 74, of South Haven, and formerly of Sturgis, passed away Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, at his home.
Dan was born May 5, 1946, in Pilot Point, Texas, a son of Cecil and Mary (Sunday) Ringler, and had lived in the South Haven area for the past six years. He loved fishing, hunting, building fishing gear and teaching his grandchildren life skills. He was known as “Dan the Man” and a family man. He enjoyed spending time up north.
Surviving are his wife, Louisa K. Ringler, whom he married Sept. 9, 2000; six children; 14 grandchildren; an three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Cynthia Ringler.
The family will meet friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, at D.L. Miller Funeral Home, Bangor Chapel, where there will be a memorial service at 6 p.m. The family suggests memorials be made to American Kidney Foundation or Wounded Warrior Project. www.dlmillerfuneralhome.com.
