Marion Elizabeth Bedard, age 85, of Sturgis, passed away Sunday morning December 27, 2020 at Care Community Assisted Living in Springfield, Michigan.
She was born November 22, 1935 in Oneco, Connecticut daughter of the late Earl W. and Ethel A. (Sherman) Barr.
Marion resided in Sturgis since 1957 coming from Oneco. On February 2, 1957 she married Roland H. Bedard in Oneco. He preceded her in death February 5, 2017.
Marion was a homemaker and member of the Old Car Club and the MGB Club.
She is survived by one daughter: Susan Fidler of Howe, Indiana; one son: Brett (Paula) Bedard of White Pigeon; five grandchildren: Issac (Ann) Harker, Philip (Kim) Harker, Paul (Erica) Harker, Zackery Bedard and Katie Bedard; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son-in-law: Tighe Fidler, two sisters and three brothers.
Due to the current conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic and limitations of gatherings the family has chosen to have private burial at Sturgis Memorial Gardens. A memorial service celebrating and honoring the life of Marion E. Bedard will be held at a later date to be announced.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
