Three Rivers police last week arrested a man following the execution of a search warrant in the 300 block of Middle Street.
According to a department media release, officers responded Thursday evening to drug-related activity. Accompanied by members of the Southwest Enforcement Team, troopers from Michigan State Police and deputies from the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department, Three Rivers officers and the K-9 officer from White Pigeon Police Department entered the residence.
The search warrant was the result of a months-long investigation related to drug sales at the residence and in its general vicinity.
Eight people were inside the residence. One was found to have a number of warrants, though specifics of the warrant were not indicated.
Also confiscated were a 9-mm. handgun, dozens of bullets, an undisclosed quantity of heroin and more than one ounce of methamphetamine.
Additional charges are pending.
