Shirley Anne Schiedel, age 84, of Marcellus, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Heartland Healthcare Center in Three Rivers.
She was born in Kalamazoo on February 15, 1936, the daughter of Sherman Biss and Nellie (Drobny) Biss.
On January 15, 1954, in St. Joseph, Michigan she married Harold Junior Schiedel, III who survives her in death.
Shirley was a Lab Tech, working for many years in Pharmaceuticals at Upjohn (Pfizer) retiring to Bonita Springs, FL for 15 years, before returning home to Marcellus for health reasons. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by her husband Harold Junior Schiedel; four daughters Shele (Ron Law) Schiedel, Debbie (Ray) McKenzie, Cindy Scoggins, Lisa (Dan) Satkoski; two sons Joe (Toni) Schiedel, Harold (Angie) Schiedel; several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; two sisters Deloris (Ron) Cherette, Beverly O’dell; sister-in-law Nancy Biss; and one brother Sherm (Billie) Biss.
Shirley was preceded in death by one son Gary; one sister Helen; one brother Louis; brother-in-law Joe O’dell; and parents Sherman and Nellie Biss.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Funeral services will be held at a later date with Pastor Jamie Smith, Riverside Church officiating. Burial will follow at Marcellus Bly Cemetery.
