All three local high school football teams involved in the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s regional finals were victorious Saturday.
Now, Centreville, Constantine and Schoolcraft are one win from playing for a state title.
Centreville beat Sand Creek, 8-to-0. The Bulldogs will travel to Oakland County to take on Clarkston Everest Collegiate in a Division 8 contest.
Meanwhile, in Division 7, Schoolcraft topped Jackson Lumen Christi, 29-to-22. The Eagles move on to the semi-final round at New Lothrop.
Finally, in Division 6, Constantine defeated Michigan Center, 33-to-14. The Falcons’ next opponent will be on the road, at Clinton.
The MHSAA today or Tuesday is expected to announce game times for all contests. It is anticipated they will be played Saturday.
