State Rep. Steve Carra has been appointed by House Speaker Jason Wentworth to serve as vice chair of the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules.
Carra was also selected to serve on the Transportation Committee; Natural Resources and Outdoor Recreation Committee; and Financial Services Committee.
The Joint Committee on Administrative Rules is a statutory panel of the Legislature. The committee is responsible for legislative oversight of administrative rules proposed or adopted by state agencies.
Carra is a former legislative staffer and represents the people of Michigan’s 59th House District, which encompasses all of St. Joseph County and most of Cass County.
