Andrews Elementary returns to virtual learning

Three Rivers Community Schools Superintendent Ron Moag said the district has decided to suspend in-person learning at Andrews Elementary School for the rest of the month.

In a letter posted on the district’s website, Moag stated four positive cases of COVID-19 were confirmed between staff and students. Through contact tracing and in conjunction with cases reported last week, the situation impacts a significant number of staff and students required to quarantine.

As a result, the school ended in-person learning this week and will remain virtual until March 1.

Moag said the district continues to take every precaution possible to keep the risk of COVID-19 at bay.
