Sheriff Mark Lillywhite and sheriff’s deputies said they are grateful to the public for its help in trying to locate a runaway juvenile.
The teen, Natalie Welch, was reported home and safe Monday afternoon.
Sheriff’s officials were notified Thursday afternoon that Welch, 16, was reported missing and suspected as a runaway. Investigators were told Welch had planned to go to the mall but, because of inclement weather, stayed at a friend’s house in the Colon area.
Prior to her parents confirming Monday she was home, Welch was last seen Saturday in Sturgis.
