Phillip “K” (Flip) Bohm, age 73, of Centreville, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at his home. He was born in Three Rivers on April 9, 1947, a son of Raymond and Lucille (McKale) Bohm. Phil graduated from Centreville High School in 1965 and went on to attend Ferris State University before serving two tours in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Phil retired as a supervisor and foreman from Kirsch after 30+ years of service. He also previously worked for Weyerhauser in White Pigeon. Phil was a member of Radiant Life Church in Sturgis, but enjoyed visiting many different churches. He was a very patriotic man and a proud member of the Republican Party. Phil spent many mornings at McDonald’s with the ‘Coffee Club’. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Surviving are his siblings Dennis (Joyce) Bohm of Centreville, Rolland Bohm of Centreville, and Darlene Thompson of Sturgis, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother William Bohm, sister-in-law Faye Bohm, and niece Nicole Thompson.
Relatives and friends will be received Thursday, February 4 from 4 to 8 PM at Eley Funeral Home in Centreville. Religious services will be held on Friday, February 5 at 11:00 AM at Radiant Life Church (907 N. Nottawa, Sturgis, MI 49091), with Pastor Ryan Bibb officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie River Cemetery, Centreville. Memorial contributions can be given to Radiant Life Church or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Centreville.
