Rose Mary Eggleston, age 78, of Marcellus, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Edgewood Healthcare in Three Rivers.
Rose was born in Dowagiac on August 17, 1942 to Michael and Edith (Sibley) Krager.
On August 27, 1960 in Dowagiac, she married Robert Uriah Eggleston Sr., who preceded her in death on December 23, 2020.
Rose was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family and raising her children. Rose enjoyed cooking, canning, oil painting, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Rose is survived by her sisters Mable Hartman, Barbara Morgan, Linda Palmer, all of Dowagiac; sisters-in-law Sandy Krager of Cassopolis, and Sally Krager of Dowagiac; children Julie Rosen of Sturgis, Frank (Brenda) Eggleston of Marcellus, Archie Eggleston of Marcellus, Rodney Eggleston of Marcellus; stepson Robert Eggleston Jr. of Jones; son-in-law Zack Pendell of Marcellus; 9 grandchildren Jennifer (Ren) Hartung, Linda Rosen, Brian (Ashley) Rosen, Brandon, Travis Pendell, Erika, Nathan, Heidi, Rachel Eggleston; 9 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband Robert Eggleston Sr.; parents Michael and Edith Krager; baby sisters Alice and Beverly Krager; sisters Ruby Moore, Loretta Koch, Nancy Kelley; brothers John and Michael Krager; daughter Cassie Pendell; and granddaughter Hannah Eggleston.
