David Allen Eagan, age 59, formerly of Sturgis, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021, at The Laurels of Coldwater.
In following his wishes, cremation has taken place, and he will be buried in Logansport, Ind. The family is in the care of Dutcher Funeral Home.
David was born Jan. 16, 1962, to James and Guinevere (Jones) Eagan in Logansport. He was a 1980 graduate of Logansport High School and continued to trade school at Ivy Tech. David worked as a TIG welder at the Forest River Palomino RV plant for many years. He was a man of faith, attending Living Hope Fellowship in Sturgis.
David enjoyed the outdoors, especially going fishing, kayaking and playing golf. He was a fan of Indiana University sports and watching car racing. David had a love of dogs, rescuing many over the years.
David is survived by siblings Jerry Eagan of New Mexico, and Marcia (Greg) Cripe and Nancy (Keith) Boxell, all of Logansport; several nieces and nephews; and his good friend Sharon Spiker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant sister Diane Eagan.
