Jean Holtz, 79

Jean C. Holtz, age 79, of Sturgis, passed away early Tuesday morning, March 16, 2021, at The Laurels of Coldwater in Coldwater.
She was born Nov. 19, 1941, in Sturgis, a daughter of the late Fred and Alma (Brothers) Holtz.
Jean resided most of her life in Sturgis, with the exception of a few years when she lived in Utah.
She had been employed in the accounting and bookkeeping department at Kmart in Sturgis.
Jean is survived by a sister, Susan Holtz of Sturgis; several nieces and nephews, including Patricia (William) Trefry of Key Colony Beach, Fla., Janna (Steven) Chambers of West Lafayette, Ind., and Steven (Michelle) Lyons of Sturgis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Helen Lyons, Linda Holtz and Judy Holliday; and a brother, Fred Holtz.
A graveside service and burial will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis.
Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with arrangements.
