Rhonda Le Groff, age 55, of Sturgis, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Sept. 5, 1965, in Flint, a daughter of Ronald and Shirley (Stanley) Sisco.
On July 14, 1990, she married Michael Groff in Bronson.
Rhonda had lived in Flint, Bronson, Union City and, most recently, Sturgis, throughout her life. She had worked for Village Lounge, Midwest Tool, Holiday Inn and by Precision Speed Equipment, where she worked for more than 23 years.
She enjoyed stamping, crocheting and making cards for people, especially the Hospital Guild, where she volunteered. She loved being around people and would always bring joy and laughter to everyone she met and so enjoyed the time spent with family and especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Michael; a daughter, Rachael (Tom) Lesher of Sherwood; two sons, Chris (Lailani) Groff of New York, N.Y., and Justin (Vanessa) Groff of Burr Oak; eight grandchildren; a sister, Terry (John) Bower of Sturgis; her father: Ronald (Pat) Sisco of Florida; and a sister-in-law: Heidi Sisco of LaGrange.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Sisco; and a brother, Ronald Sisco.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 807 E. Chicago Road, Sturgis. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restriction of gatherings, limitation of no more than 25 people in the funeral home at a time will be followed and face masks are required.
Services celebrating the life of Rhonda Groff will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gracepoint Baptist Church, 26268 W. Chicago Road, Sturgis, with the Rev. Jeff Farnham, officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
