Chris Cline, 26

Christopher Carl-Thomas Cline, age 26, of Burr Oak, passed away early Sunday morning, April 11, 2021 at his home of natural causes.
He was born May 7, 1994 in Sturgis, son of Paul and Jody (Gear) Cline.
Chris resided most of his life in the Sturgis and Burr Oak area and was a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 2012. Following his graduation he furthered his education at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, and was currently enrolled at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Psychology.
He was employed with his father and brother at Cruiser RV in Howe, Indiana.
Chris was an Eagle Scout and a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon. He enjoyed playing disc golf, gaming, woodworking and being a part of family projects. He could often times be found alongside his father doing home repairs for others.
He is survived by his parents: Paul and Jody Cline, Jr. of Burr Oak; one sister: Courtney (Mark) Deroshia of Sturgis; one brother: Paul (Rachel) Cline, III of Shipshewana; his significant other: Taylor Cripe of Burr Oak; nephews: Finn and Beau Deroshia; bonus parents: Dan and Marcia Cripe of Sturgis; bonus siblings: Emmilee Cripe and Thomas Michael Cripe both of Sturgis; grandparents: Gary and Pam Brown of Burr Oak and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jim and Paula Machan, Paul Cline and Carl Gear; great grandparents: Jack and Mary Gear and Charles and June Cline; niece: Charlie Rae Deroshia and cousin: Dale E. Greensides.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M and 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Radiant Life Church, 907 N. Nottawa Street in Sturgis where funeral services celebrating the life of Christopher Carl-Thomas Cline will begin at 11:00 A.M. Friday. Pastor Josh Herrema will officiate. In accordance with family wishes cremation will follow the service.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
The family suggests those wishing to make a memorial donation in Chris’s memory consider Boy Scout Troop 402, 907 N. Nottawa St., Sturgis, MI 49091.
