Robin Lynne Tilden, age 64, of Sturgis, passed away Wednesday evening, April 7, 2021, at her home.
She was born Dec. 17, 1956, in Sturgis, a daughter of the late Maurice M. and Sharon Lou (Brown) Pippinger.
Robin resided most of her life in Sturgis and was graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1975. She furthered her education at Glen Oaks Community in Centreville, where she earned a certificate in respiratory therapy.
On April 29, 1978, she married Gary Tilden in Sturgis.
Robin had been employed in respiratory therapy at Sturgis Hospital and LaGrange Hospital. While still in high school, she worked at Strand Theater and The Golden Cone, later renamed Queens Restaurant, in Sturgis.
She was a member of Midwest Custom Car Club and enjoyed riding motorcycles, gardening, cross-stitch and antique automobiles.
Robin is survived by her husband, Gary; two daughters, Amanda Lyn Tilden and Ashley Lyn Brewer, both of Sturgis; a grandson, Owen Brewer and a granddaughter, Alaina Brewer; two brothers, Douglas (Louann) Pippinger of Perham, Minn., and Dennis Pippinger of Santa Monica, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
