Alice Crossgrove, 85

Alice Lucille Crossgrove, age 85, of White Pigeon, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 14, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Jan. 10, 1936 In Coldwater. The daughter of William & Charlotte Brown (Sours). On Dec. 5, 1956 She was married to Mr. Leroy Crossgrove, together they raised 4 children until his passing in1974. Alice was a faithful and active member of New Hope Community Church in Centreville Michigan. The love of Alice’s life was her family and her church (Jesus Christ).
She enjoyed family reunions, spending time her family. She also enjoyed playing cards, aggravation, shopping, caring for others, volunteering at her church. She also enjoyed fishing, and getting together on special holidays.
Alice was preceded in death by both her parents, three brothers Harlow (Mary) Bates, Lee (Joyce) Brown, Dale (Marge) Brown. Two sisters Wilma (Bill) Briggs, Gladys McVicker. Two grandchildren Melvin and Russell.
She leaves to cherish in her loving memory, her four children Phillip (Mickie) Crossgrove, Samuel (Kimberly) Crossgrove, Christine Beardsley, Michael (Lina) Crossgrove. Her brother Richard Brown. 13 grandchildren; Oscar, Becky, Lori, Jennifer, Melinda, Brandy, Charlotte, James, Jason, Jessica, William, Tiffany, Kristine, 28 Great grandchildren, and 8 Great Great grandchildren, Several Nieces & Nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7pm Monday, May 17, 2021 at Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at 11:00am at Trinity Missionary Church in Constantine.  with Pastor Terry Neumayer officiating. Intermittent will follow at Madison Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Alice may be directed to New Hope Community Church.
