Barb Little, 52

Barbara E. (Sutton) Little, age 52, of Sturgis, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born October 19, 1968 in Sturgis, daughter of David and Anona (Ulrich) Sutton.
Barb was a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1987. She furthered her education at Glen Oaks Community College where she earned a degree as a medical assistant. She was truly at her best when she was caring for others. Her grandmother lived with her for the last years of her life and received the very best care from Barb.
Barb’s only sister, Christine died in 2006 and when this happened a part of Barb died as well.
On October 10, 2016 she married Canton Little.
Barb had been employed by RX Optical for several years and worked as a CMA in Centreville.
She is survived by her daughter: Amy Sutton; mother: Anona Sutton; brother: James Sutton; several nieces and nephews and her K-9 buddy: Jack.
She was preceded in death by her father David Sutton and sister: Christine Fager.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Sturgis Church of Christ, 901 N. Lakeview Ave. in Sturgis. A memorial service celebrating the life of Barbara E. (Sutton) Little will immediately follow the visitation at 2:00 P.M. at the church. The Rev. George Cleverley will officiate.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial donation be directed to the St. Joseph County United Way, P.O. Box 577, Centreville, MI 49032.
