Cheryl R. Bouterse, age 59, of Colon, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, May 15, 2021.
Cheryl was born on September 10, 1961 in Sturgis, a daughter to the late Paul and Mary (Schweitzer) Lederman.
Cheryl attended and graduated from Colon High School with the class of 1980.
On October 22, 1983 Cheryl married her husband of 37 years Jeff Bouterse at the Assembly of God Church in Sturgis.
Cheryl was a CSA for GT Independence in Sturgis. She was also a member of the Athens Christian Center.
Cheryl is survived by her husband Jeff Bouterse of Colon, and her in-laws Harry ad Sharon Proctor.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents.
Following her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
