Doug Keefer, 67

Douglas James Keefer, age 67, of Sturgis, passed away Monday morning, May 7, 2021 at his home.
He was born April 24, 1954 in son of the late Charles Russel and Myrtle Keefer.
Doug resided most of his life in Sturgis.
He had been employed by the Kirsch Company in Sturgis for several years until the closing of the company.
Doug enjoyed automobiles, NASCAR, watching old movies and listening to music.
He is survived by his friends and caregiver: Susan Detwiler of Burr Oak.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. Private burial of the ashes will take place at a later date.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
