Sandra Lou Hansen, age 84, passed away April 16, 2021. She was born March 23, 1937 in Constantine to the late Max R. and Madonna (Burcham) Hill. Her early years included living in Three Rivers and Muskegon, while raising her three sons.
Sandra and her husband Owen are residents of Spring Lake, Michigan and have been part-time residents of Ellenton, Florida since 2002. She attended the former Immanuel Lutheran Church, was a current member of Harbor of Grace Lutheran Church in Muskegon, and the Terra Siesta Worship Group in Ellenton, Florida. Sandra loved going out on their pontoon boat, attending music festivals and dulcimer jams.
Survived by and left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband of 45 years, Owen; sons, Steven Stroud; Bradley (Nick) Stroud; and Randall (Jane) Stroud; grandchildren, Michelle (Jeff), Doug, Kyle (Leona), Kaitlin (Jonny) Sprecken, Carolyn (Eric) Schmidt, Matthew (Toni), Michael (Jessica), Janessa (Tim) Smit, Jason, John and Zachary; great grandchildren, Zoltar, Frye, Lev, Tenley, Tatum, Elliott, Nolan and Grace. Additional loved ones of Sandy include other family members and close friends.
In addition to her parents, Sandra is predeceased in death by her sister Shirley Comeau and her granddaughter Andrea Stroud.
A Memorial Service was held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Woods Hall in the Terra Siesta MHP in Ellenton. The family will plan a Celebration of Life gathering for Sandy in Michigan, to be announced at a later date. Memories and condolences may be left online at www.MFHcares.com.
