Three Rivers Golf – Monday

The Three Rivers Golf team traveled to Klinger Lake Country Club today (Monday, May 3, 2021) to take on host Sturgis, and the Tigers of Allegan.  The course got the best of the Cats, as they finished with a total of 212 on the night.  Host Sturgis was second, with a score of 200, and Allegan took the match firing a 187.

Leading the Cats was Garron Gahan with a 47.  Owen Sampson came in with a 53, followed by Isaac Adams with a 54, and Dominick Homan and Caleb Quake each shot 58 to round out the scoring for the Cats.

“It seems that every one of the guys had two or three of those “big number” holes that we try to avoid.  If we eliminate those, and just turn those into bogey, our scores would improve greatly.” — Coach Pat Kline

Three Rivers will be back in action Friday morning when they travel back to Klinger Lake for the Sturgis Invitational.
