Three Rivers Golf – Thursday

The Three Rivers Golf team hosted a tri-match Thursday at Sauganash Country Club taking on Plainwell and Dowagiac.  The Cats put together one of their best scores of the season, shooting 186, but Plainwell proved to be too strong for the Cats, carding a very nice 165.  Dowagiac finished third with a 205.

Leading the Cats was Isaac Adams with a 45.  Owen Sampson fired a 46, Garron Gahan carded a 47, and Dominick Homan shot 48 to round out the scoring for the Cats.

“It was really nice to host today and play the course we practice on.  This is only the second time all season we have been able to play on our home course, but you can tell the familiarity of the course definitely helps the guys with their confidence.  I was very happy to see four scores in the 40’s.” — Coach Pat Kline

Three Rivers will be back in action Monday when they travel to Island Hills to take on Centreville and Constantine.
