The Branch Hillsdale St. Joseph Community Health Agency is encouraging anyone who received one or both COVID-19 vaccines out of state to visit the agency so their data can be entered in the Michigan Care Improvement Registry.
This can be accomplished by visiting the BHSJCHA between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at its office in Coldwater, Hillsdale or Three Rivers.
A staff person will provide the applicable paperwork to complete and those who do come in are asked to bring their COVID-19 vaccine card.
The benefits of updating the local health department are twofold: the vaccine is recorded in the state database and the information will be added to the county and state totals of the number of vaccinated individuals, officials said.
