Kathy Wentworth, 70

Kathryn Donna Wentworth, age 70, of Sturgis, and a former longtime White Pigeon resident, passed away Monday evening, June 28, 2021 at her home.
She was born October 19, 1950 in Vicksburg, daughter of the late Joyce E. (Phillips) Smith and Earl E. Lash.
On May 25, 1990 she married Richard E. Wentworth in Centreville. He preceded her in death October 5, 2016.
She enjoyed driving semi-tractor trailers with Richard and loved lighthouses and her cat Callie.
She was a former member of Women of the Moose Sturgis Chapter #613. Kathy touched many hearts and will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by sisters: Diane (Pat) Johnson, Carolyn (Marvin) Stevens, Susan (Bob) Schroeder and Cheri (Pat) Evans; brothers: Tom (Nettie) Smith, Jack Smith, Earl (Regina) Lash, III and Carl Smith, III and many nieces and nephews including special niece: Cindy (Tony Armour) Shepherd.
She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter: Patricia Sue Rudacill, parents, step-father: Carl Smith, Jr and sister: Carlene Joyce Robertson.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
