Here’s a reminder that all eight K-12 public school districts in St. Joseph County are participating in the “Meet Up and Eat Up” program to students 18 years of age and younger this summer.
Burr Oak offers a meal to children 11 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday. The lunch includes next day’s breakfast.
Centreville, Colon and Constantine offer a seven-day supply of breakfast and lunch every Wednesday. Centreville’s pick-up time is noon to 2 p.m., Colon from 10 to 11:45 a.m. and Constantine 1 to 6 p.m.
Mendon, meanwhile, offers breakfast and lunch 1 to 2 p.m. Fridays.
Sturgis has pick-up locations noon to 1 Monday through Friday at Congress, Wall and Wenzel schools, and Thurston Woods Park; and 11:30 to 12:30 at Sturgis High School.
In Three Rivers, meals are distributed Monday through Thursday at the following times and locations: 10:15 to 10:30 a.m. at Barrows School, 10:45 to 11 a.m. at Hoppin and 11:15 to 11:30 at Andrews. An additional pick-up is available at The Huss Project from 11:30 to 11:45.
In White Pigeon, food is distributed five days a week simultaneously at Central Elementary and Mottville Bible Church: 11:30 to noon at both locations.
