Elena Breiter, the new director at Three Rivers Area Mentoring, said the agency is working on rebooting and updating programs in 2021.
She said she is looking for volunteers interested in mentoring, or helping with a youth club or workshop.
Breiter said TRAM is attempting to set up partnerships with other local organizations and small businesses to provide valuable resources for families in Three Rivers.
It also is promoting student-led group mentorship and peer mentorship programs such as buddy reading, pen pals and hobby clubs.
Other programs include a job-preparedness program with young-entrepreneur projects for teens, an upcoming volunteer drive for adult and teen mentors, and kids getting involved in fundraisers for local causes.
